I am a freelance wildlife camerawoman from Tokyo and currently based in Bristol, United Kingdom.
After finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Tokyo, I worked in project management and administration for seven years. Throughout the 7 years, I lived in Cambodia and Thailand, and also travelled to more than 20 countries. I encountered so much beautiful and magnificent nature all over the world. These experiences inspired me and encouraged me to take a completely different path as a wildlife filmmaker. I quit my job and left one of the biggest companies in the world then I flew to Denmark to study film production at the European Film College. I have recently completed my Master’s in Wildlife Documentary Production at the University of Salford in England. Now I work as a 2nd camera in the field for Slygas Conservation Media.
I am a multilingual communicator and speak English, Japanese and Mandarin Chinese. I have taken Albert Sustainable Production Lesson.
